Crime Analysis Section
Crime Analysis personnel perform analysis work in the identification of patterns, trends, common characteristics and further analysis of Sheriff’s Office crime data. The section provides reports of the analysis of crime data in order to provide the Sheriff and division commanders with information required to make manpower allocation and deployment decisions.
Technology Section
The Technical Services Manager is a sworn and certified deputy sheriff who is responsible for performing systems analyses involving information technology systems, including mobile data systems, digital wireless networks and Web-based systems. The Technical Services Manager analyzes computer applications used by Sheriff’s Office personnel, tests those applications and conducts training in their uses.
