Uniform Patrol

The Uniform Patrol Division is responsible for answering calls for service, traffic enforcement, accident investigation and preliminary investigation into criminal activity.

The Uniform Patrol Division is divided into three eight-hour shifts: Morning Watch, Day Watch and Evening Watch. 


Uniform Patrol also includes the Special Operations Unit, Community-oriented Policing (COPS) Unit, K-9 Units and Task Force. The Uniform Patrol Division patrols twenty-four hours a day, utilizing vehicles, motorcycles, Segways and bicycles.
