Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit
The Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit is comprised of six K-9 Teams. Of those six K-9s, each has a specific set of skills that they are trained for. The Sheriff’s Office utilizes the K-9s for numerous purposes, whether it’s locating missing persons, detecting the odor of illegal narcotics, or apprehending and/or tracking fleeing suspects.
